Obituary

Bobby "Dale" Cantrell, 58, Ozark, MO, passed away peacefully in his home on April 13, 2021, after a battle with cancer.

Dale was born March 14, 1963, in Marshfield, MO. He was the son of Robert Cantrell and Connie (Young) Cantrell. He is survived by his beloved wife (his "Angel") Penny Cantrell (Messersmith), by his sister Vicki Guynn (Butch) and two nephews Cody and Jody, and by a loving extended family. Dale is also survived by three children, one stepdaughter, and 11 grandchildren: son Jason Cantrell and his children Zoie and Kaylee; daughter Casey Cantrell (Casey Whipple) and her children Marlee and Lincoln; son Jacob Cantrell (Brittany) and his children Emma, Sabrina and Logan; and stepdaughter Danielle Blandford (Sam) and her children Elisse and Isaac and stepchildren Natalie and Quinton.  Dale was preceded in death by his father and his mother.

Dale was known for his selfless heart. If someone needed help with something, he was always there to offer a helping hand.  He would say, "It's just the right thing to do."  Dale was truly happiest when spending time with his friends, family and especially with his grandchildren.  When not with family or helping others, he loved riding his motorcycle and went on many road trips with his wife and friends.  Dale was very patriotic and a strong supporter of the 2 nd amendment.  In addition, he loved God and took great comfort in his grace and mercy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dale's name to BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION OF THE OZARKS, 620 W. Republic Rd., Ste 107, Springfield, MO, 65807, or via www.bcfo.org .
