Obituary

Dale Raymond Callahan was born July 8, 1943, in South Fork, Missouri, to Willard Ramond Callahan and Alberta Marie Warren Callahan. He passed from this earthly life on February 11 at the age of 81.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Carolyn Sue Cathcart. He is survived by his wife, Dianna Ruth Revis Callahan of the home; sons, Douglas Raymond Callahan and wife Tammy of Post Falls, Idaho; Lane Dillon Callahan and wife Julia, near Bolivar, MO; and daughter, Dannee Ruth Carbonetto and husband Marc of Pass Christian, MS and their children. Dale is also survived by his sister, Anna Marie Brauer, 3 nephews, 4 nieces and their children.

As a child, Dale attended school at South Fork, then attended West Plains High School. In childhood he attended church at South Fork Nondenominational Church, and as an adult he attended Oakville (Concord) Baptist Church and Eudora Baptist Church in Polk County.

He served his country in the Army from November 26, 1963, through March 20, 1965. He worked at Litton Industries in Springfield, MO, then after retiring from Litton, he worked at Wal-Mart in Bolivar, MO.

Dale was a loving husband and father.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, Missouri
