IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cyndi Lee
Foulks
December 30, 1961 – November 29, 2022
Cynthia "Cyndi" Lee Foulks, 60, of Rolla, was born on December 30, 1961, in Cumberland County, North Carolina, and lost her battle with cancer on November 29, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri. Cyndi was adopted as a toddler by Carl Wain and Lucille Marie (Hanneken) Lee and was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Cyndi was big-hearted, tenacious, and broad-minded. Much of her life was spent in customer service, but her favorite job was working with disabled veterans. Cyndi championed for what she believed in, fought for the underdog, looked for the good in everyone, and taught her children to do the same. She was an avid reader, music lover, and prolific crocheter. Her fiber art continues to warm her family and friends as she did in life.
After a rebellious youth and tumultuous adulthood, Cyndi found peace the last few years of her life with the aid of therapy. She loved deeply and loudly and was incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends.
Cyndi is survived by her children, Kris Oldham and husband Neal, Lisa French and husband Lee, and Thomas Quick and wife Sarah; her grandchildren, Mason, Lana, Harlie, and Grayson; her siblings, Carla Lee and partner Jake Martin, Michael Lee, and Gayle Morrow; and many other friends and relatives.
The family wishes memorial contributions be made directly to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the Ozarks Food Harvest, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
