It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cory Brian Todd Stapp, 44, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. A lifelong resident of Springfield, MO, Cory was born January 23, 2981.

He was preceded in death by one son, Castiel; and his mother, Grenda.

He is survived by his wife, Charity (Ingle) Stapp; his children, Letta, 25, Kadin, 19, and Axel, 5; his stepchildren, Daniel, 25, Samuel, 22, Ariel, 17, Gabriel, 15; his brother Randy; his sister, Brandi; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cory's family was his top priority in life. They truly meant the world to him. He could fix and/or improve anything he put his hands on; his talents were limitless. Cory will always be remembered for his love of music, his smile and his contagious laughter. He had a heart of gold and a spirit like no other. Corey truly was one in a million.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, Mo.
