IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Constance
Muehlman
March 23, 1939 – October 4, 2025
Constance (Connie) Louise Muehlman March 23, 1939 – October 4, 2025,
On the early morning of October 4, 2025, Constance "Connie" Louise Muehlman passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 86.
Connie was born on March 23, 1939, to Joseph Edward and Doris Catherine Cox. She lived her entire life in Springfield, Missouri, where she graduated from Parkview High School. At the age of 19, Connie married Jack Gray, and together they had three children: Stacey Dawn, Lesley Louise, and Jack Andrew.
A devoted homemaker and talented seamstress, Connie poured her love into everything she created. Later in life, she worked at Commerce Bank for over 23 years, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. Connie had a passion for crocheting, crafting countless beautiful afghans for family and friends. She also enjoyed square dancing—a pastime that led her to meet the love of her life, John W. Muehlman.
Connie and John shared 25 wonderful years together and were devoted members of the Springfield Church of God. Throughout the past decade, as Connie bravely faced Alzheimer's, John cared for her with extraordinary love and devotion.
Connie is survived by her beloved husband, John W. Muehlman; her brother, Marty Cox, his wife Janice, and their son Caleb; her children, Stacey Becker-Scott, Lesley Aldridge, and Jack (Andy) Gray; and her many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Stacey Becker-Scott and her children Ezra, Einn, and Evan Becker; Lesley Aldridge and her children Jessica Aldridge, Tyler Aldridge, and Taylor Kilmer and husband Matteo, along with their children Maliki, Eli, and Autumn Kilmer; and Jack (Andy) Gray and wife Diane and their children Kimberly and Kaitlyn.
Connie will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, faith, and the deep love she gave to her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and generous heart touched all who knew her, and her memory will live on through the many lives she brightened.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
