IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Connie
Cleavenger
September 22, 1962 – January 19, 2021
Connie Marie (Nelson) Cleavenger, 58, of Springfield Missouri, passed away January 19, 2021, at home with her family after a battle with cancer. She was born September 22, 1962, in North Platte, Nebraska and was raised in Casper, Wyoming.
Connie moved to Casper, Wyoming when she was 9 months old. She got her GED and also completed a tiling course at Casper College. She was very proud of this accomplishment, often offering to do tile work anytime a need would arise.
She spent the majority of her working career doing something she loved and feeding people. She was a very talented chef and baker and she passed this knowledge down to her daughters. Her favorite job though was when she was the cook at the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission because she was able to do what she loved while also spreading the gospel and bringing glory to God.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann; her daddy, Tom; sons, Michael and Eugean; and her brothers, Ronnie and Jay.
Connie is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Cleavenger; her children, Samuel (Sarah), Desiree, Jonathan, Natasha, Kaleb and so many adopted in love children; 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and countless other relatives.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held at 3pm Saturday January 23,2021 in Springfield Mo at Faith Baptist Church.
