Colton Nanney

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Colton Nanney, age 21, on June 13, 2026.

Born on October 20, 2004, Colton was the beloved son of Jeff Nanney and Tonya Bishop. He lived life with a passion for the outdoors and found his greatest happiness in hunting, fishing and spending time in nature. Whether he was casting a line, preparing for hunting season, or simply enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, Colton was in his element.

Colton was known for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He treasured time spent with family and friends and never missed an opportunity to share a laugh, lend a hand, or create lasting memories. His love for the outdoors reflected his appreciation for life's simple pleasures and the peace he found in nature.

Though his time here was far too short, Colton touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of friendship, kindness, and unforgettable memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Colton is survived by his mother, Tonya Nanney (Bishop); his father, Jeff Nanney, and Rhonda; grandparents, John and Donna Bishop and Allen and Connie Nanney; aunt and uncle, Curtis and Sarah Bishop; aunt, Loretta Nanney; his beloved dog, Copper; and dear friends, Gary Allen, Logan Shaffer, and Sheila Shaffer.

His memory will live on in every sunrise over a fishing hole, every quiet walk through the woods, and every story shared among those whose lives he touched.
