Claire G. Como, 78, of Springfield, MO passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024. She was born February 9, 1946, to Albert and Marie Gaillard in New Orleans, LA.

Claire lived in New Orleans, La many years while running a successful business and raising four children: Scott, Michelle, Anne (Tim) and David. She was very active in her church and known as a sweet woman that radiated positivity that had a generous heart. She loved to entertain and cook, often volunteering her time and resources to be a blessing to others.

Later in life, as she navigated a new path for herself, she met Paul, who had also raised 4 children: Cathy (Gerry), Angela, Jason and Chris (Mary). Paul and Claire married after they had raised their families and had some independent years to grow. They married March 16, 1996, and enjoyed 28 wonderful years together. They enjoyed traveling, especially cruising, and Claire's knack for business played a key role in getting some fantastic deals on amazing destinations. She loved a bargain!! When she was not traveling, she was either planning an event she wanted to help cater or helping with grandchildren. She was a role model of strength and fierce independence that loved the Lord, loved her family and friends and loved helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother, whom I'm sure gave her a warm welcome as she entered heaven.

Claire is survived by her spouse, Paul, all their children and countless grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Selmore Christian Church 4731 Selmore Rd Ozark, MO 65721.
