Christopher Scott Wietholter, age 50, of Richland, Mo passed away on Friday October 7,2022 surrounded by his loving family at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born on December 28,1971 in Cincinnati, OH to Ruth Goularte.

At the age of 5, Chris and his mother, Ruth, moved to San Diego, Ca. In 1991, Chris graduated from Santana High and in that year, he also met the love of his life, Patsy Ramos. In 1997, Chris began his lifelong dream career of being a semi-truck driver. Chris loved the freedom of being on the open road and he could tell you how to get from point A to point B from just about anywhere in the country. In his spare time, Chris loved watching movies and being with his family (both 2 legged and 4 legged). He also enjoyed going to amusement parks. He especially loved going to Walt Disney World and was a bit of a roller coaster/thrill ride aficionado.

Chris is proceeded in death by his maternal aunt- Mary (Bill) Olson, aunt Erma (Semone) Landaverde, and uncle Paul Wietholter.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Patsy Wietholter, his children- Sara (Alex) Pike, Shawn Wietholter, James Wietholter, his mother Ruth (David) Goularte, sister, Tonya Wietholter, Mother-In-Law, Rosemarie Ramos and grandchildren Madeline and Everett Pike as well as countless other family members.

Chris made the decision before his passing to be an organ donor; extending the gift of life to others as a final act of kindness. Cremation will take place at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
