Christi Hammock, 47, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, August 12, 2024.

She was born on January 6, 1977, to her parents, Woodrow Hammock and Helen Cron in Springfield, MO

Christi was preceded in death by both her parents, Woodrow and Helen; two brothers, Jerry Wise and James Cron and both sets of grandparents.

She is survived by her son, Galion Aherns of Springfield, MO; three brothers, Steve Hammock of Stockton, MO, Gary Cron of Fair Grove, MO and Fred Cron of Springfield, MO; a sister, Lori Hammock of Springfield, MO; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christi attended Ash Grove High School and after graduation she helped her mother with a booth at the Fairgrounds each year. Each year she worked the rides when the fair was in town as well as other odd jobs. Christi had just recently been taking online college classes to become an administrator in a Rehab Nursing Home which she became interested in after one of her stays in a rehab facility. Christi was a very loving and caring person and would do anything she could to help people even though she was handicapped herself. She loved songs about Angels.
