IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Chris
Dill
September 1, 1975 – January 10, 2023
On January 10th, 2023, our dear friend and loved one, Chris Dill, went to be with the Lord. His departure was an unexpected surprise to us all, and he will be greatly missed. Though he is not here with us, he would not want us to be sad. He would want his family and friends to come together and celebrate his life.
Chris had little patience for long ceremonies, traffic, and doctors. However, when it came to being there and helping those he cared about, he had all the patience in the world. He would often encourage those around him to follow their passions, and tried his best to be the example.
He was a very smart and creative man who wanted to share his ideas with the world.
Many of the things he created was inspired by his family and others around him. Chris loved drawing amazing characters, and coming up with stories for them. He loved to wonder what things, like aliens would look like. Which inspired him to make a coloring book of the aliens he that he drew.
Chris loved to work on projects with and for his children, taking every opportunity to work with them. Encouraging them to pursue their dreams and hone their skills. He was so excited to bond with his all children through his various forms of art. Making sure he did everything he could to show each and every one of them that they are loved. He did his best to make every moment he spent with them special. It didn't matter to him if they were biologically his or not, he loved them dearly.
Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends! Whether he was going to an event or sitting at home watching Netflix with Wendy, he would do his best to lift everyone's spirits. His family recalls how he would try to make everyone laugh. How he loved his family and friends regardless of what happened.
Though we miss him so much, he would want us to keep pressing forward. To take things day by day in manageable chunks. He would want us to look back on the time we spent with him and smile. To rest easy knowing that he is in a better place, and that we will see him again one day.
