Robert Christopher Bishop
"Chris"

Born December 24th, 1954, and passed March 27th, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born and raised in Springfield, Mo. He graduated from Glendale High School, Class of 1973. Chris jumped into the workforce after high school and ended his full time working career as a profound locksmith. Chris was known and loved by many. His profession led him to meet new people on a daily basis. He had many hobbies including collecting stamps, baseball cards, watching every Cardinals game, fishing and finding the answers to the weekly News-Leader crossword puzzles. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He made sure to attend every sporting event, birthday celebration or random family gathering.

He is survived by his four daughters and their husbands, LaShelle and Shane McKeown, Stacie and Mike McGuire, Amanda and Lonnie Ryker and Andrea and Stephen Jean; three sisters, Cathy Bishop, Cindy and Dean Dearing and Carrie Bishop; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Diana Bayless Bishop and Robert "Bob" Bishop; and grandson, Taylor D Patton.

Chris' memorial services will be held at Elfindale Chapel, 1701 S Fort, Springfield, MO, on April 5th, 2024, with visitation from 1-2 and services at 2 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
