Cheryl Renee Brekken, 38, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born August 31, 1983, to Randall Brekken and Brenda Parkes in Springfield, MO.

Cheryl has most definitely had a hard life, but that never stopped her from being a kid. She loved going to the movies, spending time with her friends and siblings, going out to eat, and all their trips to Silver Dollar City.

Cheryl almost completed her junior year of high school before getting sick. After that, she was considered disabled, but that never stopped Cheryl from being Cheryl! She loved her arts and crafts, drawing, and spending time with her family. The thing that she loved the most was her grandson, Landon. He was her pride and joy and she felt complete after he entered this world.

Cheryl is preceded in death by Violet Griffith, William Robinson, Xandar Brekken, Marie Randall, and William Randall.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda Parkes; daughter, Trinity Sexton; grandson, Landon Turner; siblings, Jason Brekken, Percilla Warner, Sarra Lankford, Joshua Brekken, Brice Brekken; and nieces, Alex Brekken, Skylah Brekken, Jordan Brekken.

A service for Cheryl will be held March 5, 2022, at 11:00 am, Restoration Church, 910 W Battlefield, Springfield, MO 65807.
