Chase Alexander McDonald, age 17, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. He was born July 16, 1998, in Springfield, to Michelle McDonald and Brandon Savage.

Chase loved playing football, fishing, airsoft, playing video games and just hanging out with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Savage; paternal and maternal great-grandparents; and grandfather, Clarence Hamilton.

Chase is survived by his mother, Michelle McDonald; step-father, Kerry Rothermel; father, Brandon Savage; brother, Caleb McDonald; sister, Alyssa Savage; step-brothers and sisters, Kaedin Rothermel, Makenzie Rothermel, Keagan Rothermel, and Draevin Rothermel; maternal grandmother, Debra Hamilton; paternal grandmother, Ginny Hammonds; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016, at 4 PM, in the South Haven Baptist Church, 2353 S. Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
