Charlotte Ruth Wilson, 73, of Joplin, MO passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was born April 6, 1949, to LP and Lorene Lane in Picher, OK.

Charlotte graduated from Carthage High School and became a medic in the army. She then attended Crowder College and MSSU where she obtained a bachelor's degree and became a Registered Nurse. She had a passion for caring for others and held numerous nursing positions in the area.

On November 20th, 1975, she married Bob Wilson. The two had eight children and through the years became the proud grandparents of 15 grandchildren. Charlotte enjoyed crafting and baking and was a devoted member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church, but her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wilson; her parents, LP and Lorene Lane; and her brothers, Allen Lane and David Lane.

She is survived by her children, Michael Johnson of Jasper, MO, Dennis and Joanna Johnson of Cabot, AR, Teena Scott of Springfield, MO, David Wilson of Springfield, MO, Jeena Wilson of Springdale, AR, Jim and Deborah Wilson of OK, Cindy Eckhardt of Joplin, MO, and Keith and Colleen Wilson of Joplin, MO; her sister-in-law, Donna Lane of Carthage, MO; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11:00am at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Joplin, MO.
