Charles Thomas Parks, 59, was born November 2, 1959, in Manhattan, NY and passed away June 28, 2019 in Springfield, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Olive Parks.

Charles is survived by his loved ones: wife, Loretta Parks; his five siblings, Thomas Parks, Mark Parks, David Parks, Iona Rutherford and Johannah Wycuff; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Charles spent nine in a half years in the Navy. He also worked in security, food service and had other career opportunities. Charles loved to go to the shooting range and The American Legion. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, was an active member of Starfleet International and also loved to travel. He wasn't much active after his stroke six years ago and had wanted to be more active again.

Services will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
