Charles "Chuck" Lee Deckard, 60, of Brighton, MO passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 8, 1965, to Charles and Thalia Deckard in Springfield, MO.

Chuck lived his life to never back down and it was always eventful. He skipped school, was an outlaw, and didn't like people "gawking" at him. He was raised with country music and guitars. Chuck wasn't a fan of cats, but he lived like one with many lives. He was a fighter and a survivor. Even though he was rough around the edges, he would give you the shirt off his back.

Chuck attended Strafford and Fordland Schools. He was married once and divorced. Chuck spent his career being a carpenter.

His hobbies included coon hunting in his early days, frogging, working on bicycles and vehicles. Most of all, he loved fishing and did so even during his last moments.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Deckard; favorite cousin, Terry L. Deckard; and favorite uncle, Linville Deckard.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Thalia Deckard; siblings, Lisa Pingel (Deckard) and Randy L. Deckard; son, Brian Deckard and spouse Makayla and their children, Sophia and Madison; stepdaughter, Melinda Fullington and her four children; nieces and nephews, Trudie Deckard and her three sons, Cody Deckard and his daughter, and Billie Deckard and her daughter; and several aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins.
