Catherine "Cathy" Jean Cole, 63, a lifelong resident of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was born September 21, 1959.

Cathy loved to sing and listen to music. It wasn't uncommon to hear her making up her own lyrics as she sang along. She would do anything for the people she loved, especially for her two boys. Cathy always went above and beyond.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bobby Bennett; and her niece, Lori Bennett.

Cathy is survived by her two sons, David Schmitz and Ricky Hagler; her granddaughter, Serenity Powell; siblings, Donna Williams and Randy Bennett; and many nieces, nephews, close friends and her beloved cats. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
