Carrie Ann Constable, 54, of Springfield, MO passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. She was born December 13, 1969, to Carroll and Betty Cousins in Kirksville, MO.

Carrie Ann could be best described as a wild and free spirit. She loved spending time outside whether she was kayaking, on the lake or at the ocean. She was fiercely independent and was known for doing things her own way.  She was well traveled and spent time teaching English in Ecuador. Carrie Ann enjoyed the position she held in Human Resources. It was her dream to pursue her Doctorate in that field. She looked forward to being Dr. Constable, but her favorite title was "Nana." Carrie Ann loved being a grandmother and a mother. They described her as nurturing, loving, and kindhearted. Her family meant everything to her, and she always put them first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Betty Cousins; and three granddaughters, Amelia, Zoey and Charlotte.

She is survived by her sons, Joshua Stone and his wife Jessica, William Constable and his wife Paige and James Constable; her grandchildren, Levi, Luci and Lyla; her sisters Colleen, Amy and Jenny; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special celebration will be held to honor the life of Carrie Ann Constable at a later date.
