Carolyn Sue Cruse, 76, of Walnut Grove, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Born December 11, 1948, Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.

A devoted fan of soap operas, she never missed "her stories," and her life reflected the same mix of love, laughter, and plot twists she so enjoyed on screen.

She is survived by her children Nancy (Rod) Stevens, Tammy Weatherford, and Shawn Cruse; grandchildren Rachelle (Dean) Piley, Jessica Smith, Jamie Cruse, Austin Cole, Thomas Carlisle, and Mikey Kirk; and great-grandchildren Lilli and Lainey. Carolyn was welcomed to Heaven with a big hug from daughter, Brenda Smith.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich, MO.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
