Carol Lee Shinkle, 68, of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born November 3, 1955, to Theodre and Alice Koltun in Chicago, IL.

To say Carol was a wonderful mother is an understatement. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and would do anything to make sure they were happy and successful. She was incredibly proud of her family and has left behind a legacy of love.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sally Koltun; and her finance, Arthur Jr. Murrell.

Carol is survived by her four children, Jenny (Jason) Woods, Alison Pospychala, Christina (Nathan) Shinkle, and Daniel (Emily) Shinkle; her grandchildren, Nate, Owen Christopher, Dayton, Harmoni, Koltun, and Kaiden; one sister, Alice Koltun; one brother, Ted (Linda) Koltun; and many other family members and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
