Carla Sue Susie Holder, 54, of Houston, Missouri, passed away January 16, 2014 at West Side Health Care in Springfield, Missouri after a courageous battle with cancer. Susie was born July 28, 1959, in El Paso, Texas. She was the daughter of Carl and Mengies Robertson. Susie may have been small in stature, but what she lacked in size, she made up for with heart. She was caring and compassionate, and loved life. Whether it was reading a book, searching in antique stores, or playing with her grandchildren, Susie made life an adventure. We will forever remember her kindness and laughter, and her gentle caring soul. She touched many lives in her short lifetime, and has left us with many fond memories to cherish. Susie is survived by her two daughters, Teressa (Robert) O'Quinn, of Springfield, MO; and Alisha Ramis, of Cabool, MO. Her grandchildren, Kyla and Dylan Jackson, of Springfield, MO; and Kaylei Ramis, of Cabool, MO. Her mother Mengies Robertson, of Houston, MO; her brother Teddy Robertson, of Houston, MO; and her sister Gail Randall, of Holland, MI. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Susie was preceded in death by her father. Her family is forever grateful for the wonderful care provided by the staff of West Side Health Care and Mercy Hospice. Susie requested a celebration of life, which will be held in the Northside Baptist Church of Houston, Missouri, on Friday, January 24, 2014, at 10:00 am. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
