October 31, 1954 – February 13, 2022
Carl Manuel Juarez, 67, died on February 13 in Springfield Missouri amongst his five children. Carl was born to Juanita (nee Briseno) and Manuel "Waxie" Juarez on October 31, 1954.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Joseph Juarez.
He is survived by his siblings, Freddie, Larry, Ron, Chrystal, and Shani; his children, Nicole and her husband Scott Craft, Jennifer and her husband Joseph Boschert, Sharee Juarez, Shirelle Juarez, and CJ Juarez. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Alexander, Madeline, Cadence, Lily, Remy, and Adrienne.
Carl was born in Kansas City. He lived at Boys Town where he attended high school and found his love of handball. He served in the Navy and was stationed on carriers during the Vietnam War. After the war, he worked in production maintenance and moved to Springfield. For the last twenty years, he worked for Dairy Farmers of America. Carl spent a great deal of his spare time serving the homeless population of Springfield. He would literally give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
Carl will rest next to his mother at Mount St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
A memorial in honor of Carl will be held on March 13, 2022 at the Locally Grown KC Event Space, 2119 Washington St, Kansas City Missouri 64108, 1-5.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request memorial contributions made to Veterans Coming Home Center in Springfield.
