IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carl Edward
Foster
September 9, 1942 – November 19, 2021
Carl Foster, son of John and Hazel Foster, was born September 9, 1942 in Kansas City, KS. He left this world to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on November 19, 2021 after a long illness. At the time of his passing he was 79 years, 2 months, and 10 days old. He attended school and graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City. Carl fell in love and married the girl next door, Connie Supulver, on November 4th, 1960. The two of them enjoyed just over 61 years of marriage. Carl worked professionally at Allis-Chalmers and as a builder before beginning his career with Questar Pipeline. He retired from Questar as a camp supervisor at Powder Wash Camp in Colorado. While it was hard work, Carl so enjoyed the time leading that camp and considered many of its workers as family. Carl also had a wealth of talents that he used for his enjoyment, for his family and to help others. Some of Carl's favorite pastimes were woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorbikes. Carl also had a deep faith in God. After asking Christ to be His Savior, Carl was baptized in Wyoming in a mountain stream. In the last several years of his life, Carl was a faithful member at Calvary Chapel in Buffalo, MO.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Norman Foster and Joseph Foster; and one sister, Eleanor Ham. He is survived by his wife Connie of the home, daughters Carrie Foster and Carla Foster; four grandchildren, Daniel Foster, Jeremy Sladek, Aaron Sladek, and Chelsea True; seven great grandchildren; and one brother, Melvin Foster; as well as many dear friends and family members who will miss him greatly.
