Obituary

Bruce Clark Tallada, Sr., a resident of Willard, MO, passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 59.

He was born on September 26, 1962, and was raised by his father, Reimon Tallada, and stepmom, Lois Putney-Bloor Tallada, in Kalispell, MT.

Bruce graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell, MT, in 1981, and shortly after joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Bruce was stationed in Washington, Texas, and Louisiana. He had many memories and stories to tell about his different stations. You may have heard about one of his many schools he attended, how he crossed the International Date Line on the USCGC Boutwell, the food he tried during foreign ship inspections, or about being a proud decommissioning crew member of the USCGC Fir, which was the oldest decommissioned cutter in service. He was proud of his time in the Coast Guard. Bruce finally retired as a MK2 and pursued his dream of becoming a truck driver by attending driving school in Drumright, OK. Bruce has hauled everything from groceries and electronics to heavy machinery and even equipment for concerts. Obviously, between the different stations in the Coast Guard and being a cross-country truck driver, Bruce has met a lot of people. Bruce was the type of person that could start a conversation with anyone he met, and he formed many life-long relationships that he cherished.

Bruce had a love for various things. Anything that had an engine, regardless of if it was a motorcycle, boat or car, he loved it all. He enjoyed participating in car shows, and if he wasn't participating, you would still find him looking at other cars there. Bruce took pride in his vehicles and enjoyed working on them, as well as cleaning and shining them where they would always look their best. He also loved riding his motorcycle and was so happy to finally own a Harley. Bruce wasn't afraid to travel a new road, especially on his motorcycle. He also loved trying new food at different restaurants, but everyone knows his favorite was Hooters. Bruce loved helping his sister, Laura "Tweety" Fraker, and her family on the farm and enjoyed spending time with them. One thing is for sure, Bruce lived life to the fullest.

He will be sadly missed by his dad, Reimon Tallada; his four children, Brandle L. Tallada of Camp Verde, AZ, Bonnie C. Tallada and fiancé Kory Savoie of Patterson, LA, Bruce C. Tallada, and Trysten N. Tallada of Morgan City, LA; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Savoie and Baby Svoie due in July. Bruce will also be sadly missed by his fiancé, Allyn Vasquez of Phillippines; a host of siblings; nieces and nephews.

Bruce was preceded in death by his stepmom, Lois Putney-Bloor Tallada, and his grandparents, Raymond and Jessie Tallada.

A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
