Bruce Kevin Robbins, 58, of Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was born August 28, 1964, to Bobby and Alfreda Robbins in Mountain Home, AR. Bruce lived most of his life in California where he fell in love with the ocean. He spent any free time he could at the ocean.

Bruce loved music and played the guitar. He also loved fishing, woodworking and mechanics. He was very crafty and good at working with his hands. He loved the holidays, especially decorating his home with all of the beautiful holiday decor. Bruce loved giving gifts to his family and friends and always donated toys for children at Christmas.

Although he never had children of his own, he was very sensitive to the needs of children, the environment they lived in and their overall wellbeing. He also had a soft spot for those in need. It wasn't uncommon for him to give a person on the street a couple bucks, some change or buy them a hamburger.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother and father, Alfreda Smith and Bob Robbins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his sisters, Candee (Rick) Smith and Melony (Jim) LaNier; his half-brother, Dan (Ingrid Larson) Farrington; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend of seven years, Marcie Coons.

Bruce had a big heart and is missed by everyone who knew him.

Bruce will be laid to rest in Forestville, CA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
