Brenton "Brent" Clay Charlton, 38, of O'Fallon, MO passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024. He was born March 8, 1986, and raised by his parents, Rick and Judy Charlton in St. Louis, MO.

Brent was a people person. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and never met a stranger. He was goofy and had a great sense of humor. He liked listening to music and would dance if given the opportunity. Brent also enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing at the river. Thanks to his dad, he was a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Watching the Bucs play football was a favorite pastime they often enjoyed together. Brent loved spending time with his sons, his fiancée, Lauren and his family. He had many friends that he considered family and there was nothing more important to him than his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Charlton; his grandparents, Clay Edwin and Billie Jean Charlton and Melvin and Marie Janis; his uncle, Jimmy Charlton; and his stepdaughter, Emily McNees.

Brent is survived by his sons, Parker James Charlton (son of Sarah Alexander) and Memphis James Charlton (son of Nicole Layton); his fiancée, Lauren Hammond; his stepson, Mikey Bolderson; his mother, Judy Charlton; his sister, Andrea (Tom) Duncan; his nephew, Gabriel; his niece, Gracelynn; many friends; and his best friend, Kyle Treinen.

A Celebration of Brent's Life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 at the St. Andrews Cinema & Event Center, 2025 Golfway St, St. Charles, MO 63301.
