Bradley Leroy McConnell, 75, of Protem, MO passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born January 12, 1951, to Quentin and Margaret McConnell in Manhattan, KS.
Brad graduated from Manhattan High School in 1969. He was in theatre and sang in multiple high school musicals. He attended Kansas State University and was in a fraternity. He ran a record shop downtown Manhattan and was a lover of music.
Brad was a Master Carpenter the past 50 years. He owned a cabinet shop in Corvallis, Oregon during adulthood and moved to the Ozarks in 2011. He constructed homes, pole barns, furniture, and hand crafted countless beautiful wooden pieces that will be treasured for generations to come.
Brad was also an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved gardening and the outdoors. He was a storyteller and jokester. Brad loved his grandkids and his dogs, and enjoyed living at the lake the last several years of his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Gertie Graves and parents Quentin and Margaret McConnell.
Bradley is survived by his wife Teresa McConnell, sister Vickie Mages, sons Ty and Logan McConnell, stepson Nathan Maggard and wife Karen, and grandchildren Avery, Skylar, Allison, and Cameron.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
