Boyd Lynn Thomas, 74, departed this life December 22, 2016, at Cox South Hospital. He was born September 13, 1942, in Lockwood, Mo. Lynn was the son of William Seth and Doris Wilson Thomas, both of whom preceded him in death.

He graduated from Miller High School and attended Missouri State University. In 1965, he married Loretta Pyle Thomas who survives him. They spent their married life on the family farm.

Lynn is a member of Gray's Point Christian Church where he served as deacon. He served in the Missouri House of Representatives in 1985-86 for District 125.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Will Thomas and his wife, Kim; his daughter, Lorie Garner and Bill Zobel; three grandchildren, Russell Garner, Denton Thomas and Savannah Thomas; one brother, Jackie Thomas and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Thomas.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2016 followed by memorial services at 2:00 pm, in the Marc, Mt. Vernon, MO.  Inurnment will be at Gray's Point Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Gray's Point Memorial Cemetery, 1113 Lawrence 1050, Miller, MO 65707.
