Bonnie Marie (Ellis) Curtis, 70, Mountain Grove, MO, was born October 17, 1943, and departed May 3, 2014, in Mercy Lebanon Hospital. She was born to John and Fay Curtis in Rayburn, MO. Bonnie was the 2nd of 6 children.

She was joined in marriage to Orval Curtis on December 4, 1970. Bonnie was an RN in Louisiana, then returned to Mountain Grove, MO. She loved gardening, especially pink roses. She was best known as a mother and homemaker.

Bonnie joins her husband, Orval; father, John; brothers, Mack and Carl; sister, Jennette; and her son, Randy Whillhite.

Leaving behind her mother, Fay; children, Ricky, Brenda, Jr., John, and Melissa; step-children, Danny and Tony; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two siblings; Lavon and Linda; and many nieces and nephews.

A family service was held Sunday, May 4, to honor Bonnie's life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
