Billy R. Jackson Sr, 72, of Springfield, MO, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was born on July 27, 1949.

Billy graduated high school in 1967 and in 1968 he enlisted in the Air Force. Billy met the love of his life, Sarah McElroy, on December 7, 1974. The two were married on May 1, 1978, and they shared over 47 wonderful years together. She was able to be with him until the very end.

Billy loved spending time with his Yorkie, LJ. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or just hanging out at the lake with his buddies.

Billy was preceded in death by his stepfather and mother, John and Helen Harlan; sister, Marie Harlan; brother, Jimmy Harlan; and his son, Billy Jackson Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; son, Daniel and significant other; daughter, Mary Sederburg and husband Joe; grandson, Cody Sederburg and wife Hailey; great grandson, McCray Sederburg; siblings, Debbie Stultz, Kathy Harlan, John Harlan and wife Judy, Bobby Henson and wife Pat, and Dennis Henson and wife Sue; many nieces and nephews; and he will be missed by his friends and lake buddies.
