Billy Paul Hoggatt, son of Paul Eugene and Peggy Belle (Matney) Hoggatt, was born October 13, 1957, in Woodland, California. He passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, in his home, in Seymour, Missouri, at the age of 59.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Cline and Alice Matney; and grandmother, Lacie McMannes.

He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Ann Barnetti and her husband Dallas of Newport News, Virginia; his son, Andrew Hoggatt, of the home; his sisters, Paulette Thomas of Rogersville, Missouri and Kim Thompson and her husband, Jim of Seymour, Missouri; his brother, Tommy Hoggatt and his wife, Shelia, of Seymour Missouri; his nieces and their families, Melisa Sartin of Seymour, Missouri, Hollie Allen of Pensacola, Florida, Shelby Helms and her husband Ryan, of Seymour, Missouri, and Allison West and her husband, Shane, of Ozark, Missouri; and his beloved parrot, Rowdy; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Seymour Freewill Baptist Church, 403 W. Ventura Dr., Seymour, MO 65746 at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 15, 2017, with burial in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery to follow.
