Bill Wayne Mills passed away February 25, 2022, with his sisters Brenda and Tina by his side.

He was born October 17, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to proud parents, William, and Mary Mills, and joined big sisters Brenda, Carol, and his big brother Allen. His little brother Danny and youngest sister Tina joined that family a few years later. Bill always had a passion for water, whether it was the ocean, a lake, or the pool he was in it. He loved fishing, shrimping, and crabbing. He also loved just relaxing with his kids or family and watching a good movie. No matter what Bill loved to laugh and share good times with family and friends.

The family relocated to Virginia where Bill grew up in his adolescence years and went on to have his first child Amanda in 1988, then years later had his first son William in 1993. His travels took him to Florida, and along his journey, he had his youngest son Jacob (his baby) in 2004. Life takes different paths, and Bill lived his last years in Florida and decided to relocate to Missouri. Over the years in Virginia and Florida, Bill worked as a drywall hanger and finisher and had a passion for construction and loved doing it. Over the years his family grew, and he had three grandchildren Skylar, Greyson, and Allen. Bill always had the biggest love for his family and was always the jokester that was making everyone laugh.

In later years, Bill's health slowed his active life down some, but it never stopped him completely. He continued to make everyone laugh and smile around him. He always made sure to get to some form of water therapy, whether it was fishing, swimming or just relaxing by the water. If he wasn't by the water, you could find him next to a family member or his youngest Jacob watching a movie.

Bill is survived by three children: Amanda Moore, William Mills and Jacob Mills. 3 grandchildren Skylar, Greyson, and Allen, four siblings: Brenda (Thomas) Sorensen, Carol Atwood, Danny Mills, Tina (Gary) Mills-Sutton. Many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends he called family through the years.

He is preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Mills, his brother Tommy (Allen) Mills, his best friend/brother Dennis Marc King, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be April 4 ^th , 2022, at 10:00am at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home at 2198 K-Ville Ave Auburndale, FL where he will be laid to rest with his mother Mary Mills. Please feel free to join the family at the grave side memorial service.
