Beverly Jean "BJ" Winsea, 72, of Springfield, MO, passed away February 9, 2026. She was born March 26, 1953, in Aurora, MO, to Wilburn and Joan Jenkins.

BJ was a caregiver by nature, and she worked as a nurse in private care for many years. In 1977, she married the love of her life, Homer Winsea. One year later they were blessed with their first son, Willy and a year after that their family was completed with the birth of their second son, Russ. Homer and BJ enjoyed 45 years of marriage. BJ loved spending time with and taking care of her family. She was very loving and kindhearted. She was also a huge fan of her four-legged family members, Mugsy, Anna, RJ, and Mac. In her free time, she enjoyed her dogs by her side, a warm blanket and her Hallmark Christmas movies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer John Winsea; and her parents.

BJ is survived by her sons, Willy John Winsea and Russ Lee Winsea.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
