Beverly Kay Fletcher, 71, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. She was born on September 14, 1951, to Helen Margaret Raines (Butler) and Reuben Chattman Reed in Paragould, Arkansas.

Beverly spent her days as an Administrative Assistant in radio, where she assisted with many different tasks. She was a kind and loving soul that always offered a helping hand when necessary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Helen Raines (Butler), Reuben Chattman Reed, and Owen Butler (stepfather); her siblings, Barbara Andrews, Betty Hardin, and Danny Reed; Garry Jones (Shannon and Cortney's father).

She is survived by her husband, David Fletcher; her children, Cortney Chaffin (Scott), Shannon Coles (Curt), and Stephanie Myers (Rob); her grandchildren, Brady Chaffin, Logan Akins, Avery Myers, Kelsie Steed, Trenton Coles; great-grandchild Cort Steed; and siblings, Peggie Jackson, Joe Reed, and Bennie Reed.

Beverly brought a light to our world and will continue to do so through thoughts and memories of those she loved.  During many games of Yahtzee, she taught us about life and finding happiness. She inspired many by discovering new passions, such as drawing, through-out her entire life. May we find comfort every time the sun shines on us, every time the wind rustles our hair, we may feel her hug one more time. Her life was our blessing, and she shall never be forgotten.
