Betty known as Mom, Grandma and Great Grandmother to many passed away peacefully at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO, December 8, 2020, at the age of 68. She was born October 7, 1952, in Evansville, Indiana.
Betty worked as a waitress and in factories throughout her career. She loved her hobbies of painting, coloring, word games, cross stitching and reading. She was a big Chicago Cubs baseball fan. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandkids. Her favorite snacks were cookies, candy and soda pop.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Douglas Davis; mother, Mary Elizabeth Capps; step-mother, Flossie (Flo) Davis; sister, Shirley Capps; and brother, Marvin Smith.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Michele Bollinger and Tammy Varnes; two granddaughters, Amanda Long and Amber Bollinger; grandson, Blake Boswell; three great-granddaughters, River, Rosemary and Reece; and two great-grandsons, Remington and Braxton.
Betty didn't want a visitation or funeral but to be remembered with the best memories.
