Betty Jeanne Myre, 92, of Springfield, MO, passed away July 6, 2019. She was born June 29, 1927, in Chicago, IL, to Severen and Elise Myre.

Betty loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed knitting, plastic canvases, helping Seniors and singing in the Central Assembly of God Church of Springfield, MO. She also played the organ and piano.

Betty spent 2 years in college and graduated with her Associates degree. She spent 35 years working in the admitting office at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL and then 2 years at Cox North as a volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Winifred Ardinlo.

Betty is survived by her foster daughter, Cynthia Holley; and Cynthia's 3 children and 6 grandsons.
