Betty Kaye Coy, 67, of Clever, MO passed away March 19, 2025. She was born September 15, 1957, to Desmon and Ilean Harber in Thayer, MO. The family moved to Springfield, MO in 1970 and she graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1975.

She enjoyed playing foosball, Yahtzee, and Phase 10 and watching WWE wrestling. She enjoyed watching WWE live every time they came to town. She had a love of music like no other but her greatest love was her family. She spent her life working hard to provide for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Coy; her parents, Desmon and Ilean; sisters, Desalene and Deronda; great nephew, Dylan; great nieces, MaKayela and Kinzlea; and many others.

Betty is survived by her children, James, Desma, Kara and Karla; 10 grandchildren; her brother, Mike; nieces, Misty, Jamie and Sierra; nephew, Jesse; 8 great nieces and nephews; and 9 great-great nieces and nephews.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at 2:30 PM, Saturday, March 29, 2025, in the Charity Baptist Church, 2603 S Westwood Ave, Springfield, MO.
