Betty Louise Besaw passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 78 in Fairplay, Missouri. Born on February 1, 1947, Betty was a cherished member of her community and a graduate of Granby High School in Missouri.

Betty was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her deep love and dedication to her family and friends. Her kindness and nurturing nature were evident in her interactions and the warm relationships she maintained throughout her life. Betty was also a devout member of the Sweet Water Church, where she formed a strong church family that supported her spiritually.

She is survived by her sister, Teresa Keaton; son, Louie Rader; daughter, Shelley Colvard and son-in-law, Donald Colvard; grandchildren, Cristina Colvard, Thomas Colvard, Billi Jo Askew, and Dustin Colvard; and great-grandchildren, Crista Colvard, Louie Haslock, Timothy Askew, Arabella Etue, Elizabeth Etue, Tianna Etue, Leroy Colvard, Dustin Colvard, and Wesley Colvard, and honorary grandchildren; Skylar Stacy, Kaitlyn Colvard, and Madison Colvard.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Louie Darity; and her sister, Linda Darity.

In her leisure time, Betty enjoyed crocheting and coloring, activities that reflected her creative spirit and meticulous attention to detail. These hobbies provided her not only with personal joy but also with beautiful gifts to share with her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 4th at 10:30 am, at Sweetwater Baptist Church 16737 State Hwy H, Granby, MO 64844

Her life, marked by devotion to her family and faith, will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
