Bernard William "Bill" Wise II, passed away May 12, 2017, at the age of 74. Bill was born March 5, 1943, to Bernard William "Bernie" Wise I and Hazel M. (Houck) Wise in Raytown, MO, the oldest of three children.

Bill leaves behind his wife, Gail (Bedard) Wise of 20 years; 3 sons and their wives, Michael (Rachel), Bradley (Jody), Garett (Kim); his daughter, Robin (Wise) Mongold, and stepson, Chris Serno (Kristen); 14 grandchildren, Josh Mongold, Jamey Mongold, Aubri Ganther, Colton Wise, Eric Wise, Faith Wise, Madison Ring, Abigail Ring, Tobin Wise, Tyler Wise, Mya Wise and Greyson Wise, and Zackary and Kourtney Serno. He leaves behind two sisters and their husbands, Julie (John) Effertz and Janet (Michael) Wiskurs.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Hazel.

Bill's life spanned a long career with Western Electric (AT&T) where he also served as an area vice president of the local union. He had a passion for law enforcement and was a commissioned volunteer Deputy for several of the 49 years that he was with the Jackson County Sherriff Department's Posse. He has his own security company and also was the drummer for the Play Rights band. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed shooting, motorcycle riding and a lifetime of working with horses.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Pine Dell Farm in Pleasant Hill, MO, at 6:00 PM with Pastor Shawn Gray speaking. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 PM.
