Obituary

Beatrice Louise Ganzer was born April 9, 1938, to a mother who passed away the day she was born and a dad she never knew. Bea spent her childhood with grandparents before embarking on her own at an early age. She traveled down a path full of trouble and was incarcerated for many years. Women from a Christian organization called Praise Keepers began ministering to Bea and others in prison. As Mary Adams, a member of Praise Keepers, spent time with Bea, her heart began to soften toward the Lord. Soon after, Bea accepted Jesus as her Savior and never turned back.

Upon her release, Bea returned to Springfield and continued to be mentored and counseled by Mary and John Adams. They took Bea to Oak Grove Assembly of God where she became involved and found the love and acceptance of the people there.

Bea lost her parents and grandparents at an early age, as well as a beloved son. In fact, she left this life with no living family members, but an abundance of people from Oak Grove became her family, showing her acceptance, love, and constant support.

During her brief battle with cancer, Bea inspired everyone with her positive attitude. Indeed, she was a blessing to those around her. To those who knew her, Bea was a testimony of God's power to transform lives. On August 31, 2016, she left this life poor in the world's eyes, and she has entered heaven's gates where she now has riches untold.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
