Barbara Ann Holt, 85, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away May 7, 2026, at Cox South surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in Ventura, CA to Charles and Pauline (Inglis) Naylor on December 18, 1940.

She was raised in Bolivar by her mother and grandparents who she adored. After graduating from Bolivar High School, she was employed at the garment factory. She began working at Cox Hospital in the medical records department in 1987, where she retired in 2005.

On March 9, 1961, Barbara married her beloved husband, Derral Eugene Holt, in Bolivar, Missouri. Together, they were blessed with three children, Connie, Steven, and Brian, whom she cherished with all her heart.

Barbara enjoyed watching her husband and son race stock cars, sewing, gardening, reading, watching the hummingbirds, and being with her family. She is a long-time member of Sac River Cowboy Church.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Burns, brother Sonny Naylor, son Steven, and great-grandson Jaxson.

Barbara is survived by her husband Derral, daughter Connie Hopkins and her husband Bob, son Brian Holt and Sharon, daughter-in-law Dianna Holt, grandchildren Justin, Jessica, Haley, Dylan, and Hayden. Great-grandchildren Jayden, Jameson, Zyra, Khairan, and her lifelong friend Janice (Mashburn) Graves.

A visitation will be held on Friday, 15th of May 2026, at 10:00 AM, and service to follow immediately, in the Sac River Cowboy Church, 6448 State Highway EE, Springfield, MO.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
