Obituary

Springfield, MO — Barbara Rose Davison Harmon, age 81, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Grove Springs, Missouri, formerly of Topeka, Kansas, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Magnolia Square Nursing Home.

Born October 10, 1934 in Letchworth, England, Barbara was a full-time mother and homemaker, a seamstress, receptionist, and a hospital volunteer. She also worked as an employee of the Dairy Herd Improvement Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Harmon; her parents, Elsie and Emlyn Love; along with her siblings, sister Joyce Johnson, sister Wendy Hendrik, and brother Pete Evans.

She is survived by three brothers, Jack Evans, Stan Evans and Jim Evans and by her five children, Roger Harmon, Richard Harmon, Ronald Harmon, Roslyn O'Conner, and Robert Harmon. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place in Topeka, Kansas at a later date to be announced. Cards or condolences can be sent to Robert and Terra Harmon, 2717 East Madison, Springfield, MO 65802.
