Arlis Ray Greathouse, 74, of Falson, MO passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024. He was born December 29, 1949, to Arthur and Alberta Greathouse in Grovespring, MO.

Arlis was a kind and gentle man. He was a very, very hard worker and a wonderful provider. He loved buying storage units and selling the things that he found inside. He enjoyed fishing and helping out his neighbors and friends. He especially loved his dachshunds, his "little girls."

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Alberta Greathouse; his grandparents, Walter Scott and Nettie Harrison, also known as Granny Grunt; and two brothers, Larry and Carlos Greathouse.

Arlis is survived by his "One and Only," Deborah (Buttercup) Myers; his three little ones (his dachshunds), Precious, Maddie May, and Baby; two sisters, Patricia Kelly of Hartville and Linda Louise Lawson of Columbia; one brother, Dee (Kay) Greathouse of Van Buren; three sons, Dennis (Carrie) Greathouse of Springfield, Rodney Greathouse and Arlis Dale Greathouse; two daughters, Becky Greathouse Jackson and Beverly Greathouse; his grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
