Obituary

Ann M. Ward, born March 22, 1938, in Oneonta, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born to Donald and Mildred Wightman, Ann lived a life of compassion, unwavering faith, and a deep commitment to helping others.

Ann dedicated her life to supporting those affected by alcohol and drug addiction, offering hope, guidance, and a listening ear to countless individuals and families in need. Her heart for service extended far beyond her community. As a devoted Christian woman, she was especially passionate about ensuring that underprivileged children in other countries received a gift every Christmas—a reflection of her generous spirit and deep empathy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and by her soulmate and the love of her life, David K. Ward. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership.

Ann is survived by her children: David Stevens, Deborah Stevens, Darlene Rausch, Daniel Stevens, and Kenneth Koehler. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Ann touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a legacy of kindness, faith, and service. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
