It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Michael Rodiger Jr announces his passing. Andy, age 58, went to be with the Lord on January 24
th
, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on November 24
th
, 1960. He grew up in Rush Springs, Oklahoma and was a dairy farmer. Andy loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was known as being kind and light hearted. He loved to laugh, which was evident by the wrinkled smile lines by his eyes. He truly enjoyed helping others and liked to give what little he had. He struggled with much, but now his body and mind are at peace in heaven as he was a Christian and saved by grace.
Andy is survived by his four children: Mandie Funk, Amy Combs, Drew Rodiger and Allie Chaney along with eight grandchildren and Kellie Rodiger. He also is survived by five siblings including Carol (Ehli), Richard Rodiger, Anne Ross, Roxeanne (Lindesmith) and Anthony Rodiger. Andrew was preceded by his parents, Andrew and Barbara Rodiger. Andrew will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Andrew's ashes were buried near his parent's graves in a cemetery in Sterling, Oklahoma. He was also remembered at Springfield Lake. A memorial tree will be planted in his honor at a homeless crisis center.
