Amy Marie England, 58, of Fair Grove, MO, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024. She was born August 13, 1965, to Amos and Doris Evans in Springfield, MO.

Amy was one of six children and loved being part of a large family. Her mother was her very best friend until her passing. Her family was her pride and joy, and she adored her grandchildren.

Amy was a fantastic fisherman and could out fish anyone that went with her. She enjoyed baking and her dumplings were a very popular dish. She also loved to go motorcycle riding with her husband, Larry. They tried to never miss the Toys for Tots Ride.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Gale Richey; her brother, Wayne Hicks; her brother-in-law, Doug Franklin; her grandmother, Bertha Bumgarner; her grandson, Jesse Wayne Hicks; and mother-in-law, America Sue Carter.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry England; her kids, Christal England and Jack Hicks; her grandkids, NaSha Tsotigh, Jozen Swearingen, Matthew Hicks, and Trinton Hicks; her great granddaughter, Braylah Shay; her siblings, Teresa Franklin, Cindy Evans and Butch Evans and wife Karrie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Northwest Baptist Church, 3075 W. Norton Rd Springfield, MO 65803.
