Allen grew up in Springfield, MO. He took several college courses. Allen married his wife Susan on April 16, 1993, though he always argued it was the 17th. He had a variety of jobs, including running his own concrete construction company and his own stump grinding business. He was very passionate about his wife and daughter and could always be found outside. He loved old monster movies and banana splits.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mary Clem, his brother Bill Clem and his sister Betty Menefee.

Allen is survived by his wife, Susan Clem, his daughter Kimberly, his sons Robby and Leon, and his daughters Angel and Chrystel. He is also survived by his sister Judy Clem, his sister Barbara Driver and her husband Dean, his brother Marty, and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Noel Cemetery, Noel, MO on April 9, 2020.
