Alexander "Alex" Marion Clemons, Jr., 51, of Branson, Missouri passed away in Mercy Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born January 8, 1962, in New Orleans, LA. Alex graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 1980. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi and then relocated to Branson, Missouri. Although Alex spent his time in the vacation and entertainment industry, he always considered himself a songwriter, several with the late Grammy winner Bob House. His family stated: Junior (his family nickname) was a free spirit who never met a stranger and never stopped chasing his dream." Alex is survived by two brothers, Jerry and Terry Clemons both of Sedalia, MO and one sister, Wendy Clemons of Brandon, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Marion and Riece Clemons. A memorial for the celebration of Alex's life will be held on his birthday, January 8th, 2014.
