Alan Robert Heinicke, 66, of Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025 due to complications after surgery.  He was surrounded by his sister and brother in law.  He was born April 27, 1959 to Richard and Joan Heinicke in Tarrytown, NY.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and his life partner of 35 years, Melissa Heinicke.

He is survived by his brother, James Heinicke and his wife, Faye of Toms River, NJ; his sister, Lorraine Heinicke and her husband John Fisher of Hopewell Junction, NY; his niece, Ericka Heinicke; his nephew, Aaron Heinicke; and his great niece, Khloe Heinicke.

Alan attended Croton Harmon High School and also attended a trade school automotive program at BOCES in Yorktown Heights, NY.

Alan was mostly a self-taught automotive mechanic and loved taking apart and rebuilding engines.  His pride and joy was a Pontiac Trans Am that he rebuilt from the ground up.  He held several automotive jobs throughout the years at both independent garages and car dealerships.  He was also an avid NASCAR fan.  Alan loved his family and he will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO and will be buried in St. Augustine Cemetery in Ossining, NY among his family.
